Our story · since 2021
Named for the
canal riders.
A ditch rider kept water moving on the High Line Canal, the old irrigation ditch that still winds through Greenwood Village. We keep the beer moving. Close enough.

1883
The High Line Canal
Seventy-one miles of ditch carry South Platte water east across the plains. Ditch riders patrol it on horseback, opening and closing headgates so each farm gets its share, first in time, first in right.

Two homebrewers and a lease
Maya Lindgren, a lab chemist at a Tech Center biotech, and Tomás Reyes, a line cook turned chef, sign a lease on an empty restaurant a block from Orchard Station.
